SEO is not a bullet train

Even at the early stage of internet revolution, online competition in the commercial field has gone up so high. The entry of websites was perceived as a real surprise; but now, it is very common for any business to have a website. But, the present scenario is not contended just with a website. Along with that, it has become extremely crucial to promote the site through Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO helps in bringing your site to the top of any search engine results.

Google considers a multitude of elements to determine how to rank search engine results. These factors are either related to the content of a webpage or are yardstick of the genuineness of the website like age of the domain name, number and quality of inbound links, etc. Later on, Google started including the speed at which someone could view the content from a search result as a factor.
For SEO work, several tools are used such as blogs, articles by focusing on keywords. But, this always needs constant optimization to remain in the race. You cannot take rest after posting a few articles. In that case, you may see yourself on top one day, and on the very next day, at the bottom. Hence, regular optimization of your website is essential.
To see improvements in search engine results, how long will it take SEO to work? The answer is “it depends”. In the case of major search engines like Google, it does not take much time, as content is updated and added almost every minute, unlike other small search engines, where it would be on weekly or monthly basis. For improving SEO ranking, instant changes can be visible for worthless key words; but for very common key words that usually people search for, it will take a considerable amount of time.
Search engine optimization does not act like a bullet train. For getting satisfactory result, it takes significant amount of time. As there are a lot of competitors in the web world, it is not easy to reach till the top in one day. Continuous updates of relevant content and videos with targeted keywords have to be done. Even if after achieving the first position, you cannot sit idle; there are chances to bounce back.
In the present scenario, for a search engine, relevance goes beyond finding a page with the right words. Early days of the web and search engines didn’t emphasise beyond this simplistic step. Later days proved that this segment had to be developed to match the results with searchers’ queries. Today, the most popular sites are those that contain valuable information. This has been proved right by assessing the user satisfaction.
